Dear all,

As the very few remaining spots for this year’s tournament is filling up, we have an update for you regarding the events that will take place in Drammen October 4th-6th.

Main event
The old school main event The Plague will take place as previous years at Spiralen at Saturday, October the 5th starting at 13:00 local time (should have been 13:49, but alas). The cap is 64 players, which amounts to six rounds of Swiss before Top 8. Make sure to pay the admission fee in Tolaria to secure your spot at the tournament!

Matches in the tournament will be administered in Tolaria. Be sure to register all details and submit a deck picture before the tournament, as well as getting to know the interface for reporting your results!

There will be a dinner break after the first three rounds, so approximately around 17:00. The Swiss will consist of fifty minute rounds. Top 8 matches will not be timed, but we encourage efficient game play. After the tournament ends there will be a small awards ceremony where prizes will be handed out, as well as raffle prizes (yay, surprises!).

Side events and vendors
Many players will arrive on Friday evening and as per tradition there will be a meet up at the local tavern Skjenkestua for play testing, games and trades. Bring your binders! As before, our dear friends and vendors Mitja and Alban of Sky Guild will be present all weekend, and bring a selection of cards for purchase and trade, both Magic and Sorcery: Contested Realm.

The Plague x Sorcery: Contested Realm
Speaking of witches: As many of you (and ourselves included) also play Sorcery: Contested Realm, we can inform you that there will be arranged events on both Friday and Sunday, in collaboration with local store Midgard Games in Drammen. It is release weekend for the TCG’s first expansion set, Arthurian Legends, and - depending on availability of product - there will be arranged limited format tournaments. More information on that will follow as we approach October.
